Shapes starting with the letter ‘S’ are Square, Semicircle, Scalene Triangle and Sphere. Trapezium (UK) / trapezoid (US) – a 4 sided shape with only 2 parallel sides Name some of the shapes starting with the letter ‘S’. Square – 4 sided shape with equal length sides and 90 degree angles Shapeless – something without a defined space Shape – an object located in a defined space Rhombus – 4 sided shape with equal length sides You’ve probably heard of some of the classics: aviators, cat-eye glasses, John Lennon-esque round ones, and more. ![]() The green lines mark the sides of equal (the same) length. There are three types of triangle based on the length of the sides: equilateral, isosceles, and scalene. A triangle’s type depends on the length of its sides and the size of its angles (corners).
